Supply system restrictions, air entry, high pressure system faults can all cause it. Even a bad rail pressure sensor. Andy. History of Nissan Cars. Hi Guys, Im having serious issues with my Patrol and im compleatly out of ideas. I wondered if anybody with a bit more ZD30 experience could shine any light on the problem before i have to take it to a Garage. The car has NO power, i mean - it has trouble going up steep hills. Hi Fishjoe, I do monitor my MAF voltages closely. Normally at idle it’s just over 2 volts and at full throttle and 3800rpm I get 4.2. It’s hard to get over 4.5, but if the voltage goes higher, the ECU will see too much air flow and possibly cause an overfueling situation. I think the danger is high MAF voltage. Nissan calls this the IACV-AAC (idle Air Control Valve - Auxiliary Air Control) solenoid. The smaller solenoid is wired to the A/C Output and is simply switched on an off with the A/C clutch. It has a permanent ground and 12V+ is supplied from the A/C Relay to switch it on an off. 8FQQY4.
